is there really a heatwave tomorrow??

All the sites I have looked at suggest 30 degrees in London tomorrow, but its lovely and cool today. How accurate is this and will it be 30 and humid or 30 and breezy?? Any advice please as planning a trip to London Zoo tomorrow and can't think it will be much fun in high temperatures and the animals go quite quiet in hot weather! thank you

From 8am we've had thunder and pouring rain. Now the sun's just come out. 20 degrees. Still 27 indoors from yesterday.

Uncomfortable night here too ~ 16.3C was the lowest outside temperature it got down to and that was at 5.24am. Slightly cooler today but still a rather warm 28.5C. We've got more patches of road that have melted in the heat in our cul-de-sac ~ when you look closely, it looks like uncooked, squidgy flapjack!
