Next week isn't looking great.

I have sun cream, I have dragged the patio set out. I knew it. Sad

We had one lovely day of summer last Friday Smile, then Saturday was back to winter. Yesterday no sun and only 15 degrees. Today looks the same - dismal grey and only 10 degrees atm Sad .The only good side is that it is dry Hmm

Sparklingbrook · 10/06/2013 06:41

It's cruel to have it for a few days then have it snatched away. Sad

13C here (Leicester) Looking at the forecast, it does look like this week is going to be a bit of a 'meh' week, with some showers/drizzle/rain at times, not much sun and a lot of that blanket of grey cloud or as I call it, 'nothing much going on weather.'

Sparklingbrook · 10/06/2013 13:22

Midlands Today weather man uttered the horrifying words 'deteriorating' Gloria. Sad Cardi firmly back on, garden parasol back in shed.

Well even if it was, I think this year's summer has been miles better than last years already, so I'm feeling pretty happy! I think this week is going to be bad but next weekend good for the south.

Sparklingbrook · 10/06/2013 13:28

I will get to the Lido yet mrscog. Grin

I'm sorry, I put all our winter coats and gloves in the loft last week. This is the first year I have ever done this despite swearing I would do it every year, this year was the first time I was organised enough to do so. I thought being though May it was safe to cast a clout.

I was wrong.

Sorry, feel free to shun me forever.

HeadFairy · 10/06/2013 13:32

through May.

My hands are so cold I can't even spell.

thereinmadnesslies · 10/06/2013 13:42

Been 17 and very sunny this afternoon in nth Manchester....forecast is for rain tomorrow Sad just hoping for at least a dry 6 week holiday for my DS's....can't be doing with them spending all summer indoors!

GloriaSmud · 10/06/2013 20:55

The highest temp we got today was 16.7c at 1.16pm and as has happened before, the sun's come out just as it's getting dark!
Think there are signs some warmth will return after the weekend.

Mirage · 11/06/2013 08:13

I'm just glad that it isn't raining.People have done the first cut of silage around us and this time last year, that wasn't possible because of the constant rain.

PestoSwimissimos · 11/06/2013 08:31

MultumInParvo · 11/06/2013 08:54

Dull dull dull here in kent

dingit · 11/06/2013 08:57

Enjoyed ironing this morning - it kept me warm. I absolutely refuse to put the heating on in June!

DameFanny · 11/06/2013 09:01

So what we need is someone with money to buy a really fashionable raincoat that they wouldn't dream of wearing next year. I'm thinking an oilskin peplum, or something with faux cut-outs in transparent pvc...

Come on people, do it for Britain.

3monkeys · 11/06/2013 09:11
