We're off camping on the 25th for the weekend in Worcester. I've looked at Met Check and Met Office and it's unclear whether it'll be showery, sunny or raining. Any idea? I know it's nearly 2 weeks away but as we're under canvas I need to think about what to pack if it goes Pete Tong Smile

Models are very much jam tomorrow in the latest gfs run. High pressure doesnt start to dominate until midweek next week and until then, cool and unsettled is the order of the day for early next week.

OYBBK - wondering if you can can tell me about Coventry area on Sat 25th? Have a 4th birthday party planned for the garden and in a bit of a panic because my house isn't big enough for that many children.

Don't expect the sunshine we had last year but any idea if it will be dry?

TIA

OhYouBadBadKitten · 21/05/2013 19:07

blibs it looks quite pleasant at the moment :) quite sunny and quite warm (what a lot of quites!)

digerd · 21/05/2013 19:40

Still lots of blue sky since 5pm here. Still only 14 degrees though. Unless it clouds over, the night will be much colder than last night's 12 degrees.

I don't want to have to put the heating back on tomorrow morning Confused.

eminemmerdale · 21/05/2013 19:43

It's my birthday on the 30th. Please may it be pleasant??? Grin

blibblibs · 21/05/2013 20:09

That sound quite good Smile

Thanks

Can I ask about the Portsmouth area on Sunday?

Petty please just looking for no rain.

IwishIwasmoreorganised · 21/05/2013 21:28

We're off to Carmarthenshire in our tent - hoping it will stay dry at least!

OhYouBadBadKitten · 21/05/2013 22:16

Funky, at the moment it looks pretty nice, but rain is on the doorstep, so watch for it changing and ask again closer to the time.

IwishIwasmoreorganised · 21/05/2013 22:37

Just seen the BBC weather forecast for up to and including Friday.

Friday looks very wet and windy for most of England from the midlands southwards.

ATM, our spot in west Wales looks dry

OhYouBadBadKitten · 22/05/2013 07:56

Friday is somewhat rubbish - fortunately it doesnt count as half term Grin
Sadly though, it doesnt make much difference. A low pressure begins to move across on Monday and plagues most of the uK through the week, leaving things rather unsettled, damp and breezy.

Not terribly impressed.

S.Herts.

No sun today or rain till now. 15 degrees out and 18.5 in Confused

digerd · 22/05/2013 17:32

Just noticed it's SUNNY, like yesterday late afternoon. It makes the garden look lovely. Oh,well, better late than neverSmile

digerd · 22/05/2013 17:33

ps. Still no rain so tomorrow must water all my pots and roses again Confused

OhYouBadBadKitten · 23/05/2013 20:18

Make the most of the dry this weekend and monday as it looks very unsettled next week - not wall to wall rain, but lots of showers and some more prolonged rain around. Not very warm either, but warmer than today/tomorrow.

digerd · 23/05/2013 21:31

The wind was freezing today, even in the sunshine. Felt like winter again. Sad with sobs

IwishIwasmoreorganised · 23/05/2013 21:49

I think the wind could be our biggest problem Sad

Shattereddreams · 23/05/2013 22:24

OYBBK
dilemma is to go to Peppa pig world Sunday or Monday, it's NW of Southampton, right top edge of New Forest.

My iPhone shows dry but cold Sun but much warmer but chance wet Mon

Not sure which I prefer!

Thanks

OhYouBadBadKitten · 24/05/2013 23:09

I would def go Sunday. (How did I not see this earlier) it will warm up probably a bit more than Monday and less wind.
