Some potential for some really good beefy thunderstorms to develop over the next few days. Most likely place today I think is through the Midlands, but dont rule them out else where.

oh yikes,oh no,hadnt thought of that.
The thunder always seems louder in that area too.Same reason I suppose.

amillionyears · 28/05/2012 19:00

Just realised that may have been a stupid thing to say.

Kveta · 28/05/2012 19:03

total waste OYBBK!

I'm 39 weeks pg tomorrow, and could do with a cool breeze at night rather than this muggy oppressive air.

ReshapeWhileDamp · 28/05/2012 19:15

Signing in from South Oxfordshire here! Smile

It looks like the predictions for storms in Essex and east London are being borne out. I spotted some bea-yootiful anvil clouds to the east of us today, but I don't get the feeling that we'll have any thunder tonight. Not humid enough, and I get a bit twitchy and headachey before a good storm.

How's everyone doing with 'thunderstorm watch?' It's overcast here (Leicester) and there's a slight breeze but it's quite humid.

Sparklingbrook · 29/05/2012 13:07

Haven't seen the sun yet today, very overcast but still very warm. (Worcestershire)

Ohyoubadbadkitten · 29/05/2012 13:22

Some warnings here
More humid today, so even though the temp is lower it feels quite oppressive.

Muggy and mostly overcast here, though the sun has broken through a few times.
