I am nervous about the 'take action' warning! Windguru is forecasting force 12 storms for these parts. I have serious concerns about taking the wee ones to school in that, particularly as the only trees on the island are at the entrance to the school, eek!

Hi all, am updating on this thread its easier for me to keep my thoughts on one thread at the moment (suffering with acute time shortage issues!) and that does include thoughts on the possible storm surge which does have worrying potential.

We lost half our fences in the storm last week. I guess we'll probably lose the rest of them tonight.

Agent - this was last weeks warnings, its tomorrow you need to be (very) concerned about if you are in the warning area.

So it is . Anyway, looks like we'll be right in the middle of tomorrow's storm too.
