weather warnings for northern england

rolled into this thread northern england, esp people in the lee (east) of the pennines should be aware and pay close attention to weather warnings.

I've already had Dh warning me. Our house is fairly old with some mahoosive trees directly opposite it.

No-one is going to be allowed in the front of the house on Monday and Tuesday. Just in case.
