I'm halfway through reading a copy of 'Baby-led weaning' by Gill Rapley and Tracey Murkett but the owner wants it back so I was checking on Amazon for how much a new copy would be when I saw this cook book.

In the book she keeps repeating how you don't need a special cook book for BLW, you just cook healthy meals without salt and then let baby share. So what's with the book? Cashing in?

Wondering if it's worth getting rather than the original book though. It says it gives ideas on how to get started (DD is 10 days off 6 months old) as well as the recipies. I like recipies. I weaned DS on purees and follwed Annabel Karmel to the letter...

i know i shoudl, but i just don't know where to start... i think jem might be able to sort me out, though, or mrc. fingers crossed. i just need someone to take a look, i think.

wwweeeeell, jem, it turns out, is more bored than you'd think on mat leave, and kinder than i have any right to expect, and she is as we speak beavering away on fixing all the stuff that i don''t understand... amazing. thanks for the offer of a tame mrc as well, al, really most generous of you and pretty touching tbh. so hopefully YES we will be able to use the photos, and soon.

aitch yes fine. grandma's funeral tuesday. she brought me up so it's like losing another mum. we're ok though, she hung on for ages until her time came. was expected iyswim.

DD turns 6 months on Thursday so we can get more adventurous with our finger foods. Getting quite excited
