Don't, Aitch, I gotta sinus infection and I'm in a world of pain

MamaG · 03/01/2008 00:10

Aitch
I too now yearn for another child, just so I can have said oragne egg

Monkeybird · 03/01/2008 00:11

How much to have toast caking it in 2 minutes?

Loving it too though and now we're close to weaning no 3 need another chair...

hmmmm

Aitch · 03/01/2008 00:12

oh you poor thing, i hate sinuses. dh's dentist told him that they're prehistoric, ya know, and only drain efficiently if you bend your head forward to the same angle as if we were still wlaking on all fours. you don't wanna see me with a sinus infection. well, not from behind.

Um, it's £300. You can get nearly three Trip Trapps for that price.

monkeybird, i think it would wipe clean very easily. will we have an MN spate of pregnancies inspired by this thread? [proud] [consumerism gawn mad]

yes YES, that clicking, things are moving. i kid ye not. keep doing it.

wessexgirl · 03/01/2008 00:15

Oh, nasty, I've had that, hunker. The clicking thing is the weirdest; used to think I had ball bearings in my head (in the primitive 1980s obv).

hunkermunker · 03/01/2008 00:21

I can't taste anything atm. Had curry for dinner - very odd sensation of spicy food with no taste.

And last night DH made me soup which I'm sure was gorgeous and all I could say was "It's got a lovely texture".

I haven't tasted anything since Monday morning. Incredible how you just don't get hungry when there's no taste to what you put in your mouth.

My cheekbones are sore

(Sorry, have hijacked your weirdy highchair thread with my bleating)

wessexgirl · 03/01/2008 00:25

It's very odd when the tastebuds go awol, isn't it? I had hell with my sinuses in my teens and as a result every time I get a cold I get the non-taste thing. It's a fkn drag (especially when you're out for a birthday meal). I hope this is a one-off for you, hunker.

Crazy chair. I like it. I'd want matching 60s white plastic chairs with orange cushions for the grown-ups too though.

hunkermunker · 03/01/2008 00:29

Thanks, WG. I would love to be able to breathe through both nostrils at the same time. I did think I smelt the Olbas oil earlier, but I think it might've been a mirage. Am on antibiotics now, so hoping that helps.

ahundredtimes · 03/01/2008 00:30

All fours Hunker, like the good lady Aitch says.

Aitch · 03/01/2008 00:31

you would, wouldn't you 100x? although we're quite g-plan friendly here so i think we could carry it off. [groovy]

OP posts:
Aitch · 03/01/2008 00:32

disastrous all fours x-post with 100x

Get down on the floor woman. Stop bleating, start barking.

And then those cool 60s lamps with brown flowers on, and big white carpets.

[sigh. Considers 6y-o dd and whether she might still fit in weirdy egg chair]

ahundredtimes · 03/01/2008 00:37

Sorry, hope you feel better soon Hunker!

lolol.

Oh god, you're so right. Perhaps I could pass her some infusions down there? Oh no, I'll get down too, just to show willing.

[wags tail]

ahundredtimes · 03/01/2008 00:45

Why am I up now? I should go to bed.

[sniffs]

discoverlife · 03/01/2008 00:45

There is no way I am in line for baby feeding any time soon. But that is soooo COOL.
