Hi

Looking to bake sugar free/ salt free fruit & savory muffins, scones etc. I'm giving DS sandwiches every night for tea and want to vary it a bit.

Any healthy recipes really gratefully received!

Thank you x

Try these scones. They're not sugar free though.

There's a recipe for cheese scones [[http://www.babyledweaning.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=17754 here]], cheese straws and some savoury muffins here.

If you are after some ideas for finger food, have you tried roasted veg or strips of omelette? See if your library has a copy of this book and I found this book from our library helpful Smile

I have a basic savoury muffin recipe and just vary the veg a bit.

Base
1 1/2 cup sr flour
3/4 cup milk
1/4 cup fruit chutney - makes it delicious
1 egg
1 cup grated cheese

Then usually add
1 grated zucchini
1/4 finely diced capsicum
100g finely diced bacon.

Sometimes mushroom, pumpkin, eggplant, sweet potato, corn - anything really.

Whisk milk egg chutney together
Sift flour and mix in cheese and veg.
Pour in milk and mix until only just combined. Will look a little dodgy.

Then pop into greased and bottom lined paty tins and bake for 25-30 at 180C.

These are perfect! Thank you. The cheese straws are great too, will get baking over the weekend ;)
