A really stupid thread about weaning pots: looking for something specific!

The short version of this post is; does anyone know of any cylinder shape weaning pots? About 8cm wide?

My baby has a bottle of formula at 11am which I make up using a flask like this.

There is always a bit of water left in the flask at the end and I was thinking of putting a weaning pot into the flask to warm his food as he prefers it warm.

I thought the Tommee Tippee weaning pots would work. But the base is the right size but the sides get fatter so it doesn't fit quite as well.

I realise to some people I am a basket case, I have a weird type of OCD where I hate to have too many things in my bag and I like things to be neat and organised.

Why not use an avent bottle with the bottle sealing disks.

Go to a big supermarket and look at all their tupperware type pots. Look in the kitchenware as well as baby stuff. I bet you find something.

What you need is Tesco value plastic tumblers (not the disposable ones) - they are just less than 8cm wide. Pringle lids fit perfectly on these cups. Would that work?

Not quite what you were asking for, but I have one of http://www.thermosonline.co.uk/products/Thermos-Foogo-Insulated-Stainless-Steel-Food-Jar-Pink-290ml/Baby---Kids/products/3889 these for dd's food, and it stays warm for ages. Just heat really hot just before you leave the house, put the food in, then put the lid on straight away.

Nuzzle and scratch - thanks, I have seen them before. Sadly my head will implode if I need to carry 2 flasks .

Wallace, that could work - thanks! How tight is the pringles lid though? I'd be worried about leaks.

BikeRunSki - I stupidly haven't looked at tupperware! i will give Asda, Tesco & Ikea a try; thanks.

CMOTDibbler - thsanks another great idea, although I'm not sure how wide the bottles are. I've also found these which look promising but expensive

hmmm, I think a hipp organic 10month glass jar would fit?!

Ooh not sure how tight the lid is - only used them for things like grapes. I'll do a test when I have a chance

If you are OK with glass, then why not use one of those tall thin jars you get french style jam in? Go to the supermarket with a tape measure!

I have a pile of little platic lidded cylinder shaped tubs which we get pakora sauce in if we get a takeaway - I've been saving them for years knowing they would come in handy eventually and I use them for weaning but I have way more than I need and I'd be happy to send you some
