DD (7.5 months but 5 months adjusted age, not sure if that's relevant any more tbh) is on purees but they're getting really v lumpy now. More like lumpy mash. She had:
Breakfast: Porridge with a mashed up strawberry in it
Lunch: mashed sweet potato, chopped up pasta, some green lentils, pureed courgette, chopped up cheddar cheese - all mushed up together. For pud, some pureed pear.
Dinner: mashed spud, tuna from a can, cheddar cheese, a blob of Philadelphia, sweetcorn - mushed up together. For pud, some pureed apple.
I've been pureeing stuff and freezing it in an icecube tray, then transferring the frozen cubes into freezer bags. Then if I can't be arsed to cook anything, I can defrost a selection of cubes and dadaaaaaah! - a tasty meal a la today's lunch. She's having about 4 or 5 cubes worth for main, then a single fruit cube's worth for her pud.
Sometimes she has a rice cake for a snack, if I ever want a laugh at her learning to chew. Yesterday the nursery gave her a yoghurt for a snack and she loved it.
