Recommend me Switch games please

According to my Xbox loving son I'm having a mid life crisis 😂 have been looking at ordering a switch since Xmas and finally found one in stock at sensible price so collecting it Thursday with Ring fit.
Have some vouchers left so thought I'd get a Mario game or possibly Zelda but baffled!
Used to play Mario on wii but there's a lot more options now so not sure where to start.
All other game recommendations welcome, mostly be myself and dd14 playing but ds may play occasionally.

We’ve just completed Mario odyssey and luigis mansion. Odyssey is amazing, really addictive 😂 we also got super Mario 3D all stars, which is older Mario games but we sold it on eBay within a day. Wasn’t a patch on the newer games. Luigis mansion is good too, although playing it after odyssey was a bit annoying. With Mario and Luigi, Mario is the brave fearless one, Luigi is the scaredy cat. So in luigis mansion, his reactions etc are very slow because he’s scared. Annoyed me, I just wanted to vacuum all the ghosts and he was standing shaking 😂

Ordering 3D world and bowsers fury this week, can’t wait 😂 I’ve hijacked poor DDs switch, she doesn’t get a look in now

Mario party is good and I love Mario deluxe. Its older style where you go along the screen rather than running all about but I prefer it to the newer ones.

Zelda Breath of the Wild is amazing! The main reason I bought myself a Switch haha!
I’m going to get the new Mario game I think it called 3D world - haven’t played any Mario on the Switch yet but have played it on older consoles and loved it!

Single player is really fun but playing with your daughter will be hilarious.

Zelda Breath of the Wild is the best game I’ve ever played in my life. I’m not normally a game person unless it’s with somebody else - we have a Switch to play Mario etc together. But I was glued to Zelda from day one

Well my mum gave me here and animal crossing for Christmas and I play it daily not 😆 everyone in the family finds it hilarious that mum now plays games. 😆

You can lose hours to animal crossing!

I second untitled goose game, I can't figure out what I'm doing or how to get past the farmer bit but I I find it absolutely delightful to be a goose and my main purpose seems to be pissing people off. Love it!

I got a switch for Christmas and bloody love it .
Mario kart is fun and Zelda breath of the wild .

But I've lost HOURS to playing the Witcher the wild hunt . Amazing game with a great narrative.

Thanks everyone got a nice list to work through. DS has been finding me trailers to watch on YouTube so he can give his advice!

@gisbons Got mine in Curry's but Amazon had Mario editor yesterday or grey today and Smyths had some this morning. I was online about 8:30. There's a few stock checking websites you could keep a eye on too.

Definitely Animal Crossing! I got it for DS and I play it more than him Mario Kart is good fun.

Thank you, I have just got a bundle of the Neon Switch plus Ring Fit from the Nintendo store, and with student discount it came in at under £300!

(Which is still madness, but still!)

Have just spent half an hour doing Ring Fit and I really did work up a sweat! Great fun.

Any reviews on the new Mario game??
Either going to order this or Odyssey
