Hey!! I found my people!! Have been playing it since ww back in the days of the DS!
I specifically bought the themed AC Switch just for this game and love it! My 12 year old gets it... my partner not so! And seem to have a lot of time on my hands due to the current situation!
My native fruit is oranges but I also have coconuts and peaches.
Hoping to get Nintendo online soon and would love to trade with you all.
Thanks for all the hints and tips.
My resident services is closed today so going to spend some time fishing, catching bugs and maybe sorting out my house.

I’ve been playing since the DS and also bought the animal crossing switch! I already had a switch but couldn’t resist it.
I have coconuts, apples, peaches, oranges and pears that haven’t yet grown

If buying turnips on sunday morn (I'll be shocked if I make it up on time lol) we should all keep an eye out for days where our islands have good turnip prices. And maybe if we sell turnips on your island we leave you some dosh :)

I'll open my gates now until 9.45ish if it's of use to anyone. I'll put apples n pears, maybe a few peaches by the plaza for anyone who needs them. But limit yourself to two of each fruit so theres stuff for others. Well, a few more pears are fine as they are my native fruit anyway x

I'd say maybe older children would enjoy it. Might be a bit complicated for younger kids. But if you play with them then maybe they can enjoy the art style ect.

I played the DS version from 7 (I’m now 21) and I understood it all fine at the time. This game had a few more complex aspects in terms of tasks to complete but I’d say most older children would enjoy it.

Anyone tried the old send fruit as a present to the other residents trick to get new fruit?

I've just sent all my neighbours apples. Hope they'll send other fruit back.

I've been up all night so just bought 100,000 worth of turnips xD priced at 103 so maybe a bit risky lol.

Also got my first campsite visitor today and it's an ugly yellow hippo. Apparently we have to invite the first one? I turned off quickly. Tempted to check out an island to see if I can just invite someone from there instead to satisfy king nook. Probably not :/

DS was going to set up a swap shop but hasn't got round to it! Will have to be next weekend
