Vegan foods I miss that were discontinued

Can't sleep,as per ,and hungry,as per
And now thinking of all the yummy vegan foods that were discontinued
First up the Tesco nut cutlets, second Tesco soya chunks
Then the wicked kitchen sticky toffee pudding..omg delicious
Wicked kitchen pot noodle type pots ..my teenagers loved these
The wicked kitchen donuts and cinnamon rolls with icing on yum
Sainsbury's plant pioneers cheese sauce in a powder ,like 50 p a packet ..loved that over pasta .
Mr Kipling treacle tart ..
I bet there's loads more I've forgotten about ...

Anyone remember the vegan store ..I used to get so much from there ,all delivered frozen ..instill have a material shopper bag of theirs somewhere

Vegan Kit Kats!

I've still been able to get vegan kitkats in Sainsbury's meal deal ,and a box full is sold on Amazon..but yes they have been discontinued it's such a shame

Tesco own make after 8s were about £1.50 a box ,we always had those every Christmas with coffee after the meal..they have gone tho ,not been in store for ages

Wicked cookie dough ice cream. Although I liked it too much.

Oh yes ..I'd forgotten about that ice cream,it was absolutely the best ..could eat that right now

Do Tesco still do the sausages? I can’t get them in mine; they were always the best 😢

oh and Lidl had a cranberry loaf thingy that you added water to? Can’t get that either.

@Lamento ,yes I agree ,I think we reached peak vegan about 3/4 years ago ,it's all downhill at the moment.

I mentioned on the nut cutlets thread about soya chunks Tesco did ,that I used in all sorts of recipes,stir-fry and enchiladas ,wraps ect ..and I've just found some similar made by Linda McCartney,so I'm quite pleased with that .have 4 packs coming in my shop .

Beloved of my teenagers (who aren't actually even vegan!) but sadly disappeared from shelves.

The dried mix that came in its own tray, is that the one you mean? They usually get those in at Christmas!

@GenuineWorkOfFart yes that one; but mine had it for a few years running then none at all last year 🥲 will have to keep an eye out and buy 10000s if they come back!

I bought 48 bars from Amazon but they won't last me for long. I am only eating two fingers a day but I will be devastated when they are finished.

Not discontinued but harder to find than it was: Hackney Gelato Rich Chocolate Sorbetto - the best chocolate "ice cream" I've ever had, it's really yummy.
Unfortunately their website doesn't show which shops stock the specific items, so it's a bit hit and miss.
My local Waitrose stocks three of the Hackney Gelato dairy ice creams but none of the vegan ones, I have to drive about 30 mins to get it these days...
(it's so worth it though!)

And something I saw once during Covid was vegan pain au chocolat in Sainsburys (I can't remember which brand it was)
I bought two packs, they were amazing, and have never seen them again....
