Just bought a soup maker

Any ideas for vegan soup
I've just been throwing in pepper tomato carrots and celery and a stock cube .
And it seems to just taste the same whatever I use .
I've been looking for a vegan soup maker cook book ..but I don't think there is one

Both nice. Google for recipes.

I think all soup recipes will use the pan method, but the recipe ingredients themselves won’t change if you’re using a soup maker (maybe quantities may be less)

Yes that's true, quantity will be less ,
I thought it was going to explode the first time I used it ..makes a loud noise ,set the dogs of barking

She's not vegan but some of her recipes are and others can easily be adapted to be vegan.

That's quite a few of us up in the middle of the night and all vegans ..odd ...😍

I love broccoli soup made in my soup maker.
Head of broccoli. including the stem
1 or 2 onions
2 cloves of garlic
1 1/2 stock cubes

I add a little grated blue cheese at the end (before blending) but you could use something else to give it that umami flavour.

@Autumnpug7is it the Ninja one?
I have one and yes, it's unbelievable loud on the blend bit! But makes the smoothest of soups on the smooth function.
Love mine and apart from a couple of months in the summer I use it at least 2 or 3 times a week.

What's the best way to clean the the top part ,soup is round the lid ,I've been wiping with wet paper towels

I can't remember which one I bought,I think mophy Richard £47 ,Amazon recommended it ,so just went with that ..it needed to be easy to use and easy to clean , because I've not the patience for lots of instructions..

and just had a cheese salad sandwich 🥪 and a nice cup of tea !

I was vegetarian from age 13 to 44 ,then turned vegan 8 years ago .
I kept putting it off , because I didn't think I could give up cheese
But I absolutely love every single vegan cheese , haven't found one I don't like ..but I try not to eat to much as I know it's not good for me
No can never sleep
I used to get up in the night when the kids were small and clean the whole house .
Now I'm just on mumsnet

Bad anxiety keeps me awake..I can always find something to worry about

I have an Instant Pot Ace blender, I've only made broccoli cheddar soup in it but it's good.

Broccoli cheddar soup sounds nice

@Autumnpug7 thats a shame, not sleeping gets you down (im normally fine just a glitch) hopefully

Found a vegan soup book on Amazon,so I've ordered that

Not vegan or vegetarian, just an insomniac atm 😁. But we have a soup maker. Love a bit of soup with homemade bread (Panasonic bread maker - a bit pricey but my previous one did over 15 years being used weekly so feel it's worth it).
