Vegan Cream Alternative?

Hello!

Got a real craving for mushrooms on toast and am trying to move to plant based.

My local health food shop sells heaps of alternatives but as I've learnt with vegan 'cheese' some are better than others!!

Can anyone recommend something I can put a splash of in my mushrooms?

You're welcome Nutritional yeast is lovely, salty but not too salty it gives a light cheesy flavour. I use it as a stock in soups, mixed in toppings for 'gratin' dishes, it's just the flaked version of marmite\yeast spreads.
