We often book with helpful holidays. They only do West Country and so far (3 properties) they've all exceeded expectations.

second niche retreats. We stayed in a lovely 2 bed apartment in Porthleven with them - in the harbour and a short walk to the beach.

WideWebWitch · 08/07/2008 13:27

Agree, have been to niche houses, they're very nice.

Harbour Holidays.

WideWebWitch · 08/07/2008 13:41

Oh marvellous Wheelybug! Yes, I have been to other nice places, look at Oak House, I won a stay in a mn competition, twas fab and also Mr and Mrs Smith self catering although haven't stayed in any of these yet. And The Big Domain is great for larger places, or The Little Domain for smaller houses.

tiredemma · 08/07/2008 13:41

We use www.mullioncottages.co.uk.
They are based on the Lizard.

Maenporth Estate is right above a lovely beach. Poss not the cheapest option, but there's a lovely indoor pool. Also, (very) small playground and tennis courts.

WideWebWitch · 08/07/2008 18:26

Ah PeterDuck, that's nice to hear! I stayed in the Engine House for my 40th, prefer The Boat House but it was booked for that week as we left it too late. They're both great aren't they?
