Posh hotel near Bedgebury Forest, Kent?

Looking for a v nice hotel near Bedgebury, eg in Cranbrook, Hawkhurst, Lamberhurst etc. Pref a nice boutique or spa hotel. Can anyone recommend one?

The Mermaid in Rye, although not that close to Bedgebury.

Hotel Du Vin in T.Wells - although not boutique, very pleasant though.

I'll rack my brains, there are a few recent additions in T.Wells.

The George in Cranbrook - boutique hotel with lovely restaurant & bar - 5/10 mins from Begdebury and Cranbrook is v pretty market town as well

It's for my dad's 60th birthday, am getting him tickets to see Jools Holland at the Pinetum and nice hotel for the night.

The George looks lovely but you have to book two nights minimum for Saturday stays and that will bust my budget!

i bet if you rang them they would do a one night stay - it is low season after all. when is the concert?
