We're off to Pembrokeshire next week and the weather forecast looks wet. Any suggestions for family days out in the rain! Kids are 5 and 3. Folly farm and Pembroke castle are on the list. We're staying near Freshwater East.

I didn't think to ask about wind...

The wind is wild here today!

We’re in Pembrokeshire, for me it’s the holiday the weather didn’t manage to ruin, we did coasteering, swimming in the sea, a trip to the green arch of wales and St Govan’s chapel ( today, a bit hairy with the wind) , walk from Newport along the estuary to the beach. We even managed a bbq in the intermittent rain yesterday My kids are teens though. Pembrokeshire is so beautiful.

We did ok! Pembroke castle, dinosaur land, folly farm, Tenby, Barafundle beach, Bosherston lily ponds and Broadhaven south beach. Back home today. Youngest seems to be OK with wind and rain now which is a game changer! Thank you Pembrokeshire!

We did ok too, but the wind was insane! Coast path walk to Swanlake Bay (which is apparently a nudist beach!) and Freshwater East, bodyboarding and crab rolls at Freshwater West, Pembroke Castle, Manorbier...and a day watching films in front of the log burner on Wednesday when it really was too foul to go out.
Well done all intrepid Welsh adventurers (and I still love Pembrokeshire.)
