Birmingham - somewhere cheap but gorgeous

Please please help! I've got a glam wedding to go to in Birmingham in November - just dh and me OVERNIGHT. In my head there is an ideal B&B to stay at near the Botanical Gardens for under £40 for one night - somewhere with class - preferably no dusty patterned carpets but no big crimson swags and hunting prints either. Does it exist?

Many thanks all. I've put several of those on my favourites for when we've got a bit more cash, but the winner was Woodbridge Quaker Study Centre which does ensuite b&b for 42 squids per room, 32 without ensuite.

sorry to keep updating this, sure it's of no interest to anyone else but i guess a future searcher may be interested

woodbridge turned out to be £42 per person of course, so now i'm waiting for old farm hotel instead
