Continuing from @Work2live 's original thread, with the following intro post

"Thought I’d start this thread as a few people thought it’d be a good idea.

"It might be a nice place to support each other and talk about lifting in general, ask for tips and advice on workouts, how to get enough protein etc.

"All levels very much welcome, from complete newbies to those who’ve been weightlifting for years! 💪🏼"

This might be related to losing a few kilos, but I've been trying to extend my deadhang for a few weeks and today managed 1min 10! A few weeks ago I was happy to be regularly getting to 40sec.
Will be working from home a bit more over the summer so going to try and use my pull up bar a bit more too.

That's great progress @Proteinpudding!

Really good @Proteinpudding !

Back from a two week hol and first proper workout went well!

But goodness me, hotel gyms....they could so easily be better if an actual gym-goer chose the kit....huge great expensive machines often out of order, random assortment of dumbells with few matching pairs, rickety bench and NO PULL UP BARS (which cost 100 quid)..did what I could tho in short workouts, much less rest than normal, which was good for me I think, and lost a few kg too, so will see how pull ups go this week.....
