Starting out - are there actually any good apps for workouts?

Hey, so I’m fairly new to lifting weights & I’m just looking for advice.

I worked with an online coach for 8 weeks and she got me started with weights & I fell in love. Her programme consisted of a variety of exercises & I’d now like to start concentrating more on lifting than anything else. I still have the 2 workouts she gave me to continue doing but I’d like to add in another one or 2 a week so looking to see if there are any good apps or programmes to follow?

looking to build muscle and shift the last little bit of fat :)

I have the adjustable dumbbells, which currently are 10kg each and a bar to make them into a barbell (never used this). I have a bench on order along with some more weights for the dumbbells.

it’s really just to get me started until I go back to work & can afford to go to the gym & get a PT after my maternity leave :)

thanks!

I use the strong app to record my workouts. I'd have a look at the Thinner, Leaner, Stronger program for workouts although you would need a barbell. Caroline Given has sone good options.

Just discovered a new app called iXRCISE, and it’s definitely worth checking out! It’s a dumbbell workout app available on the App Store. It gives the option to choose exercises for one or two dumbbells. You can even create your own custom workouts to suit your training style.
