Hi
I’m trying to cut back on processed food. Can anyone recommend a less processed, more natural protein supplement?

Thanks

Not a supplement but I eat skyr with lots of things. Replaces yogurt, cream, mayo etc. It’s very high protein!

I guess it depends on your tastes and intentions for the products.

Whey and casein are natural but often padded out with lots of flavours and additives. To get them pure costs a lot more.

Pea and various nut protein powders are more 'green' but add significantly more (usually unpalatable) flavours to things when being mixed.

If you're looking for unprocessed, we'll obviously anything with nut components, but these can be quite fatty.

Then there's egg whites (to eliminate the concern for cholesterol).

Quorn, tofu etc...

Then of course meats, either dry/cured or cooked...

@Nutellanjam Yes that’s an idea. I do already eat yoghurt. It’s just tricky at work as there is no fridge
