I've just read the full DearDavid thread, including the latest update. I can't remember the last time I audibly gasped out loud and threw my hand across my mouth. That shit, staged or not, is scary. Still waiting with baited breath for the next instalment though

It's funny, I'm invested now... but no longer scared. I think I've successfully overanalysed it and now I'm fascinated but trying to see the catch.

I read it all this morning and kudos t Adam for stringing along almost a million followers for this long, but I didn't find it that scary. Too many much creepier things I read about as a kid (library books on the occult and paranormal stuff).

As I was reading this thread I heard DS moan in a croaky voice in his sleep "I didn't do anything - I don't want to..." and that did make me jump a bit but DH is snoring and the cat isn't doing anything crazy so it's all good!

Another photo update last night. "David" now reminds me of Smeagol which has slightly lessened the creep factor!

Ghosts do not exist! People who suffer from sleep paralysis often "see" things, like detached heads floating around or people etc. It's not real. My friend suffers from this and often tells us what she's "seen" the previous night.

Check out the scientific reasons rather than believing mumbo jumbo.

@Slippery - as said, I don't think many people believe it's real. It's a very good creepy read though.
