Help me name new horse!...

We are collecting a horse on Saturday. 15hh Bright bay ID x TB, gelding. He needs a name!

Ideally it would be a slightly quirky, non human name.

At the moment I love 'Dude' and 'Wilbur'

Any other ideas?

Does he not already have a name! Of the above I probably like Smithy the most.

How old is he and, as Faez asks, does he already have a name (and if so how long has he had it)?

I do believe that horses learn the sound of repeatedly used names and do respond to them, so I don't usually change their names.

If I do have to name a new horse, I generally wait a short while to see what suits. Something usually comes to mind.

He must have a name surely. I wouldn't change it unless it was really dreadful it's supposed to be bad luck.
