Do you think location is important for NQT roles

I'm having a debate within myself and thinking I need to hurry up and sort a job out ASAP because if I don't I'm stuck for next September as I'd like a change.

I'm one of those people that has to see something first before I make the move or choice to apply. Ive seen a school but it's 1 hour away in morning traffic or more if it's a busy day.

I worry I'll hit burnout though as I need to stay for 2 years for my nqt year.

What do you all suggest. I feel the commute is too much for me personally and I'll hit low mood or anxiety I just haven't found the right thing yet. Do you suggest I visit more places before making choices also?

Have you interviewed for any jobs yet? If not, I'd consider applying for the job an hour away just to get some experience of the process.

Currently making an application for 2 places near me now fingers crossed. I'm nervous as I know so many people have jobs now. I need to get a move on

Sorry. It made no sense because of my typos.

I was just asking if you actually enjoy teaching. Do you?
