No I really don't think I am. We thought he was starting to drop but he's very random, possibly growth spurting. I thought he'd cope with no nap today as went back to sleep till 7 after stirring at 5:30. Cue panicked husband phoning me from the park just as I'd started to start a big sort out, hysterical child in buggy, dash back to induce sleep.

I'm still bfing which is possibly part of it. I actually wish he'd drop now as it takes up a good chunk of the day and always makes me incredibly sleepy! Lockdown stopped any naps in buggies and I rolled with boobing as what was the point in stopping in a pandemic?!

I'm sort of day weaning (bar nap) and setting some boundaries. We should night wean but that caused 4:30 starts in my eldest... not sure how to stop tbh.

Reading that tweet was a bit nerve wracking. Hadn't heard about the mk test centre outbreak.

Unions have to do something surely? Or it's accept totally unsafe working practices including known contacts in the room or quit?

I would like to know which teachers gove is working with. All the teachers I know haven't a clue what is supposed to be happening in January. It's all such misleading bullshit.

Gove shouldn’t be working with any teachers-he isn’t the education minister .

Gavlar is no doubt as we speak WhatsApping a few of his MAT exec head mates who have WFH for some time. They’ll say schools are fine to open.

It needs parents to wake up and realise any risk to us comes home to them too. Surely time to go back to key worker kids for primary school and god knows what the solution is for high school.

The re-emergence of Gove and his opinions on education is unwelcome and chilling.

There is a cabal group of approved teachers and ed figures who the DfE appointed as their education advisers. it did raise eyebrows at the time. Will see if I can find.

What the hell are the unions doing about this expectation we all just go back in January . Surely that is the actual point of them. We need some protection and someone to listen to us. It all feels slightly insane.

Just caught up with the thread. Bit of a shit Xmas day as forgot to take HRT so was a bit moody and apparently I ruined Xmas by forgetting the brioche for breakfast...

Just waiting for the meeting news, I'm sure whatever it is will precipitate a mass swear a thon in Castle Duckula.

Woke up to the Gove headline, which pissed me off. I feel rubbish today, my chest doesn’t feel right and I have a fuzzy head. I booked a test for this afternoon. I can’t see me having escaped catching it from H.
When I drove down to the test centre, it was really busy. There is so much traffic around considering we’re in Tier 3 and it’s a Bank Holiday.
No texts from any of my family to ask how H is or how I am. Wouldn’t surprise me if they think we’re making it up - they seem to think it’s just a cold and people need to get on with it.

Over 40k positive tests logged today.
