Just that really, has any of the senior leadership team asked if you're willing to engage in plans or how you feel about your school reopening?

Yes, my head phoned me to ask me.

Yes, we were told it was entirely optional.

Yes, survey and no pressure. Looks like they'll prioritise those who don't need to use public transport.

Yes. It was an online staff survey which invited us to share perspectives, as well as information gather about health conditions and dependants.

Makes me feel even more cross as we haven't been consulted at all just informed. Staff in year groups set to return have now been told they need to come in while others can continue to work at home.

Totally voluntary at my school and not starting until the 15th.

Yes. 6 of us (from a one form entry) have said that we are following union advice. Head has accepted but we have been placed on the rota for key worker and vulnerable children (that we were doing anyway) and haven’t been involved in planning. Found out today that we won’t be getting PPE training either ...

Nope. Not consulted. Masses of rules around social distancing and hand washing though.

Yes, we have had a staff survey about how we feel and any medical conditions/people we live with who are shielded etc. Those people won't be expected to work in school.

The plan has been shared with us and is really good.

We are lucky that our head is lovely and genuinely cares about staff wellbeing. I'd hate to have her job at the moment but she is great.

I feel sorry for those who work in schools where that isn't the case

No, I’ve just been emailed with the revised rota. Pretty much the same as when we first closed. We had a meeting the evening after the announcement and were handed our rotas and told that this was not optional and we had to check messages by 7.30am each day we weren’t due in to see if we were being called in to cover staff sickness. So far we haven’t had a single Member of staff go sick and the rota seems to be working well.

Consulted on the plans, but only in respect of "did we forget anything?". Not consulted in respect of "how do you feel about this...?"
I'm pregnant and Head clarified they're not expecting me in the building on 1st June though, but then made a side comment about the initial 12w period the Gov mentioned back in Mar will be up end of wb 8.6.20. I've now noticed since being 'consulted' that my class (one of the key returning year groups) has been updated to return from 15th June (coincidently when the 12w initial 'stay at home if vulnerable/pregnant/shielding' guideline will be up).

Exactly the same at my school. I am really anxious about going back.

We have not be asked how we feel about returning. Had a meeting about the plans, appear to be good but not sure if head just making us feel better.
Im very anxious about going back, considering handing my notice in.

Jessie I feel the same. I've been in a zoom meeting tonight against the opening of schools which supported everything I feel. I've yet to hear anything reassuring

Twinklelittlestar1 I keep changing my mind. One minute I'm panicking and feel like I can't go back and I don't know what to do or who to talk to, then next I'm thinking I'm being silly just get on with it.

@Jessie40 I know what you mean. What are you expected to do when you go in? I'm a Reception teacher. Have you seen the Facebook group 'boycott schools reopening June' there's so much information on there it's really validated how I feel about it all.

@Twinklelittlestar1no I haven't seen that page. I'm a TA in year 1.
Im concerned as well as we've been told no masks/gloves unless you're dealing with an incident. However other schools in our area are allowed them. So I'm guessing it comes down money??

Yes but it seems to be falling on deaf ears. There has been so much information to say it's not safe yet it seems to be being ignored. The government said they would publish their 'science' on why it's safe which they haven't, reason being that their 'science' doesn't back up their proposals. It's insane. If you find that Facebook group there's an emergency meeting online tonight at 6pm which you can 'attend'

Asked our availability and if we had concerns. Feeling really anxious about it now. So many new rules. Luckily my children are teenagers. I wouldn't want to send my child in to primary.

No, absolutely nothing at all. No consultation or anything.

Yes we had a questionnaire sent round that made it clear that nobody would be forced to go in if they were really unhappy.
