I've always known the HateMail s a scurrilous rag but now they really are scraping the bottom of the barrel. Lownie is in the wings, poised to pounce with his 'sources close to' and 'royal insiders'.

They disgust me more than Fergie.

What gets me is some people believe it all - they want to believe it, swallow it whole, enjoy thinking the worst of people.

Which bit do you think isn't true? Yes, it is scraping a barrel but surely this stuff needs to be out in the open. Personally I'm sick of royal cover-ups. AMW and Sarah are proven to be liars and their behaviour has been covered up by the Palace for a very long time, so let's have it all out in the open.

As far as Lownie, in his first book he named his sources, there were pages and pages of names.. They aren't just 'royal insiders' or unnamed sources, they were named and agreed to speak out about the Yorks. These people ranged from high up military, small business owners who had dealings with them, all sorts. And legally his book didn't lie, as there was some events that had to be legally checked and I think it's now part of his next publication

Does he have reference numbers and footnotes, to link his assertions to sources?

Well, I think most people would agree the public has a right to know when we’re talking about the misuse of hundreds of thousands of pounds’ worth of taxpayers’ money and misconduct in public office etc etc but whatever.
