I don’t follow him but sometimes listen to parenting hell. This popped up yesterday but seems to have disappeared. It was quite bizarre as he filmed himself in a shop picking up a 60th birthday magazine which he nastily mocked then put back in the rack. A lot of the comments supported Sophie saying she is hard working, leave her alone. One of his responses was he is more royal than her (as in who do you think you are). Some of the supporting comments were vile eg “as Sean Lock said that’s a hard w**k”. Seemed very cruel, unnecessary and parallels with another ginger bullying a Sophie.

I listen to the podcast but for Rob Beckett. I find Widdecombe to be something of an annoying leftie

It disappeared so I don’t have the details but it was very odd he went to the trouble of being filmed in a shop picking up a 60th birthday commemorative magazine and making mocking and nasty comments. He came across as very unpleasant.
The last parenting hell I heard he was defending Rachel Reeves taking free Sabrina Carpenter tickets.

As stated the post is deleted so I can’t see it to quote from it. I gave an overview showing the spirit of the post. - I presumed others would have seen it as it popped up on my insta when I don’t follow him and there were a few hundred comments, and it was their views I was interested in. Apologies if that isn’t enough.

I thought Sophie was one of a prince Andrews daughters? They seem to attract a lot of distain. But they can't be 60!

I just googled him and I vaguely recognise the face but I've never seen or heard this guy.

Seems a pretty petty attack on a soft target when you consider the horrible people in the world he could attack!

OK - he doesn't like the royals. There are public figures I don't like, but surely you point to the magazine and have a private laugh with your friend/partner...you don't publish your nastiness and misogyny on the internet if you want to be seen as a decent human being, which I'm sure he does.

The guy is extremely unfunny and has only navigated a successful career because of who he knows in the industry/links.
I wouldn’t pay any attention to what he says.
