Two things stand out for me. He didn't warn her and he must have known the Press would be all over it. Secondly, I do think she got ahead of the story because exposure was coming anyway. She's had over 2 decades to make money from it had she wanted and she didn't.

I'm honestly surprised so many people are judging her taking ownership of the story. How is it OK for Harry to talk about it and earn money but when she does the same it's crass, she's just after the fame and she should have thought about her kids. The double standers are high as every.

She may have some of the morning shows (This Morning, Loose Women) and US networks offering her money to "speak her truth". Hope she makes the big bucks out of this. Harry's only got himself to blame if this one gets milked for a while.

She’s not pathetic at all! Harry did this by talking about this knowing it would cause huge press interest. She’s kept it to herself for over 20 years so you don’t get to throw the money stone! It’s obvious that the press had tracked her down and she’s getting her story out in her own words to at least be in some control of it.

Harry put her in a fairly rotten situation. Since a lot of people knew about it, it was only a matter of time before the papers were told who she was. Maybe that had happened and the Mail put it to her that it would be better to tell her own story & get paid. I think she came across well & if she were my friend I'd be tell her, well done for making the best of a situation that wasn't your choosing, it's done, now enjoy the money.

She had ample opportunity to go public over the last 20 years. The press would have been ALL OVER a "Harry the shagger" story when he was in the Army, or with Cressida or Chelsy. But this woman clearly considered him a friend at the time, and wanted to keep things private.

HE is the one who has "outed" her, he is the one who has shared the gory details, she did not ask for this all to come out now. Fair play to her for deciding to tell her side of the story now and paint it in a different light. No criticism for her whatsoever. She seems lovely.

To be honest, this whole thing sounds like teenage drunken escapade. If Sasha had blabbed at the time (I wonder if she was paid off by the palace - I have an inkling she might have been), she would be painted by the media as a slut. I don't think she is. She kept quiet even though she has the receipts. It's only when Harry opens his mouth does she come forward and is very magnanimous about him.
