Prince Harry says woman with ‘powers’ relayed message from Diana

Prince Harry describes how his sadness over the death of his mother, Princess Diana, led him to seek help from a woman who “claimed to have ‘powers’” and to be able to relay a message.

“You’re living the life she couldn’t,” Harry says the woman told him. “You’re living the life she wanted for you.”

The description of the visit to the woman – about whom Harry does not use words like “psychic” or “medium” – comes late in the 400-page book

“The minute we sat down together,” he writes, “I felt an energy around her.”
The prince says the woman told him she felt an energy around him too, and said: “Your mother is with you.”

Harry replied: “I know. I’ve felt that of late.”

The woman, he writes, told him his mother was with him “right now”. Harry says his neck grew warm and his eyes watered.

The prince also says the woman told him Diana said: “You’re living the life she couldn’t. You’re living the life she wanted for you.”

Poor fecker. He really is just incredibly messed up isn't he. Ultimately I'm sympathetic to H&M but think they haven't necessarily handled things well. But the unresolved issues with his mum are just coming more and more to the forefront.

Oh good Lord - the guardian extract says the woman gave him a sign of Diana's presence with a reference to an ornament - Harry links this to an ornament they had on their Xmas tree which was in the shape of QEII - it broke and Archie tried to fix it and apparently Diana was there having a giggle at it all

This is such a non-item. Diana famously had her astrologer. Charles has always been a tad weird with his homeopathy stuff. No doubt some of the other royals are the same.

But let's all get really distracted by this modern equivalent of gladiatorial combat - lest someone remember we've a bit of a bread situation happening!

Didn't he write this in his own book in his own words? Quoting a paragraph from an autobiography is giving full power to the person who wrote it. If it makes Harry look bad then he should not have included it. This is a huge stretch to try and discredit the OP. Some concerning things are coming out of the book. That it not because people 'hate' H&M. It's because they have included concerning things.

I still feel sorry for him.
I think their hearts are in the right place but their head's aren't and they've really gone about things the wrong way now.
They need to stop, go quiet and enjoy their kids and just lay low.

you're thinking of things like herbal/natural medicines. That isn't what homeopathy is.

Up until now I've been looking at this as a posh soap opera. With these latest revelations I am actually now beginning to find the whole thing quite disturbing. Harry is doing himself no favours and needs someone close to him to tell him to shut up and concentrate on dealing with his own demons. If he doesn't I don't know where this could end up.

Whatever you think of the RF these are real people involved, all of whom are being affected by his increasingly furious complaints.

If he wants to end the "generational pain" he is so fond of talking about he should deal with his issues in private. All he is doing here is giving the tabloids an endless source of articles and making any chance of making up with his family increasingly unlikely. For someone who wants to be an advocate for good mental health he is remarkably unconcerned about the mental health of others.

I can't see how this is going to end. He could have a lovely life with his wife and kids living in a beautiful place. It's one thing to get your side of a situation across, which he could have done by giving one decent interview instead of this continuous drip drip of petty nasty revelations. Sadly I don't think he has anyone around him who is going to encourage him to stop.
