@cabingirl I have put together the information for someone high profile visiting and liaising with their pa.
I am not expecting her to scrub floors or anything! I just wondered what her daily interests were. So we know the Queen used to walk the Corgis every day and Anne rides her horses. I really was not looking for anything more than something like this.
And yes maybe she does watch Netflix every day. Maybe she has a soap she is obsessed with? I am interested.
Can't remember who said it, but it honestly hadn't occurred to me that of course Diana who had an eating disorder spent lots of time on beauty treatments and exercise. That is really sad.
I am not going to comment any more on this thread. I am genuinely interested in getting a sense of who she is. And I think how you spend your daily life gives a better idea of that than other broader interests.
And as I said, my impression, which could be rubbish, is that she spends a lot of time with her family - her parents and sister. Some people are very family orientated. I just wondered if this impression is true.
Well we only know what has been said about her by her friends when they are allowed to talk to the media and hints from various things released about her, and a few things said in interviews, but if you are genuinely asking what her hobbies and interests are then I believe they are the following:
Exercise - she clearly does a regular exercise regime - it's been reported she swims in the Buckingham Palace pool, as well as being a member of a fancy London private health club.
Tennis - her form when playing with Emma Raducanu in the summer shows she plays regularly and probably has lessons.
Outdoors - she's mentioned in interviews that her favourite thing to do is be outside, walking, messing around in the mud with the kids, gardening. Walking their dog. There were many pap shots when the kids were little of her taking them out in Kensington Gardens on a daily basis. William has talked about her being the gardener in their relationship and how she is teaching him stuff.
Photography - it's one of her hobbies she's been very open about. And photography experts have analysed her work and called her a good amateur which comes with practice so I assume she does it on a regular basis.
Art - she's not been as open about this but there have been many hints that it's a hobby which she is quite good at - see Pippa's wedding programme, and the painting she did of St Andrews. As well as her knowledge on classical art from her degree,
Piano - now we know that she's taken up playing the piano regularly during the pandemic
Arts and Crafts with the kids - it's implied that she's the one instigating the home-made cards, painting activities, cooking projects etc. We've seen pap shots of her taking the kids to those pottery painting places.
Cycling - there have been reports of them cycling as a family on Tresco, and on other holidays
I suspect she likes sailing - the two events she did competing against William and, the land sailing activity they did - she was very comfortable managing the different techniques and definitely not a beginner.
Cooking - there have been reports of her doing the birthday cakes, and making home made pasta. Mary Berry seems to think she has good technique so probably something she does on a regular basis (bet she has help with the clean-up though)
Watching TV - William has talked about how Come Dancing is one of her favourite shows which she likes to watch with her mother.
Is that enough to be going on with?
