Introducing Marvin the Mau

He's a 2 and 1/2 year old Arabian Mau who arrived yesterday. So far he's a typical Mau - athletic, friendly and intelligent but mercifully quite quiet. Taking the excellent advice here he spent last night in the kitchen ( eventually - he escaped once) but as of now is snoozing on our bed.

@Antimimisti that's hilarious! Yes Marvin got a bit of attention but generally we find that people are a bit freaked out by what looks like a little tiger in a buggy! Will add a photo when I can

In latest Marvin related news my favourite Christmas present this year was a personalised Marvin themed t-shirt created by my husband where he managed to add the same photo twice, cut the cats head off in another photo and accidentally add a picture of the boiler room where he works to the montage. I can't stop laughing every time I look at it 🤣

Bahaha, best gift ever, that t-shirt is a winner all day every day!! 😅 This could well be the start of a profitable side hustle for your husband; I'd order one 😁
Oh, and Marvin is magnificent.

The ancient Egypians used to worship cats. Judging by his regal expression, it appears he is expecting that tradition to continue.

My parents cat reminds me of this every time I see him. He also says something about the Norse Gods Freya who had cats to pull her chariot.

We spent the Twixmas down time harness training Marvin . It's still hit and miss but when it works he's having a high old time 😁

We had a bit of a disaster yesterday when he escaped the harness underneath a bush and strongly resisted putting it back on but we persevere!
