The stars aligned and Merlin has come into our lives. He’s beautiful and calm and it’s his first night with us. Thought you guys would appreciate him 😍

The vet thinks he’s between 1-2 years. He’s been castrated, I don’t know where he came from originally, he was being fostered but their dog didn’t like him. He’s been surrendered by original owner to the fosterer so we have his microchip to be able to change it over.

We were going to get a pair of kittens but he is a better fit for us, hopefully less likely to destroy the house and will be able to go outside sooner. We were having a conversation yesterday about school houses and DP said one of theirs was called Merlin. Then today I got a message asking if I was still looking for a new cat, a friend of a friend was looking after one called Merlin. Then when I told DS, he said he had an English lesson today and they were teaching them about Merlin and king Arthur; so that sealed the deal it was obviously meant to be! So strange!
