Our beautiful boy passed away today. He was around 20 y. We have been together for 17 years. He passed peacefully at home with us near him. We are heart broken. He was the best cat ever. So much loved. A big hole left in our hearts.

We took him to the vets last weekend, but all his bloods came back normal. Today he just went downhill.

20 is a fine age - what a handsome lad. Tuxie boys are the most affectionate cats in my experience.

He came into our home as a neglected cat. We had him as a visiting moggie for four years until his peeps moved and we were able to adopt him. We gave him a good life, however he enriched ours so much more.

Thank you for all the lovely messages. I can’t stop crying. I didn’t want another pet, because of the heartbreak of losing pets when I was a teenager. But Mr Tibbles just walked into our lives. And our hearts.

I'm sorry OP. It's exactly 7 days, almost to the minute, since we lost our darling floof. I've cried pretty much all week and explaining dcat's absence to an almost three year old has not been fun. There's a furry cat-shaped hole in my heart 😞

so sorry 🙁our Mini is 18 and she won't go on for ever, although she was chasing her tail in the kitchen earlier like the kitten she used to be.

So sorry for your loss, cats are just the most amazing members of the family, we are coming to terms with the news that our beloved Tommy has a terminal heart condition, I'm dreading it. He's only 10, we've had him since he was a kitten. 😿

Aw Flooc was a handsome cat. The grief of losing a pet is agony. So sad 💔
