What would you call two girls?

We are about to adopt two beautiful grey tabby sisters from a local rescue. What should we call them??

DD wants to name them Elphie and Glinda (from Wicked) but DS and DH aren't keen!

So hit me with your name suggestions for a pair of female cats please 🙂

I would steer clear of matchy-matchy names that come as a pair if you can.

How old are the cats and do they already have names?

I think Elphie and Glinda are great names!

Love matchy names, we spent ages naming ours but they were pretty obscure.

Was fun seeing DH's crestfallen face every time the vet thought Celine was after Celine Dion though, culture snob that he is.

Whatever you name them though, mostly you will call them something else.

I wanted Zomorph and Oramorph, but that was vetoed!

It depends if you’re going to keep them both in their forever homes or if you’re planning to keep one. I’m hoping it’s the former and not the latter. I’d suggest:

• Lavender and Sage.
• Willow and Ivy.
• Flora and Fauna.
• Miso and Tofu.
• Luna and Stella.

We're definitely taking both of them 🙂

They're 6 months old. They have been given names by the rescue but we'd like to name them ourselves.

I think that Elphie and Glinda are great names, though I can't be 100% sure without seeing a photo (hint hint)
