New thread for the inmates of Toddler Towers. Strange to think, it's about two completely different cats, from the original
Thread. But Magic, Maia and Cheddar will never be forgotten.

She was squinting in her left eye the other day. But I couldn't see anything. This evening she's been squinting on the right, and Is very subdued. She's demanded food and not eaten it. She's also been very snuffly. Will phone vets tomorrow and get an appointment for Monday morning. First dose of drops and metacam given.

She's going to be a nightmare to give drops too this time! She's a mind reader and knows when I want her! The odd thing is that the last time she got one, was two weeks after Cheddar died, and now it's two weeks since Pads left. 🤔

Are Persians prone to eye ulcers? I seem to remember it was an issue with some of the other residents (overlords) of Toddler Towers

Yes they can be. Other cats from the same breeder have had issues. She will be swabbed for viruses when she's healed.

Flat faced cats and dogs are prone to eye ulcers and other eye issues, sadly.

This is going to be a battle of wits. Have to not let on at all that I have syringes or bottles on me, or she scarpers. Wish me luck!

I have the same problem with flea drops every month, she doesn't even have to see the thing, she just knows.

She's now lying on my chest, with her paws on my shoulder. Just like Cheddar would do! 😻😻😻

At least one of us was comfy.

She is properly coming out of her shell now 😻

She's been sick four times overnight. I suspect the Sheba fine flakes in trays doesn't agree with her. I thought it was the same as the sachets. She's still her bright feisty self though!

Ah they are select slices, not fine flakes! Fussy madam.

Her ladyship's ulcer is loads better. I was trying to practice my presentation for uni tomorrow, over FaceTime, and she decided to use my knee as a scratching post. Thanks Pen!

That's good news about the ulcer, less so the human scratching post!

She's been sick again this evening. I wonder if it's the metacam. She's incredibly cuddly at the minute, which is lovely!

Not normally, Cheddar didn't tolerate it particularly well. Pen was on it for about a month last time.

How is our Princess Pen getting on?

She's ok. I'm away at the minute. She's giving the cat sitter the run around when she tries to give her eye drops. And looks like she's plotting her death afterwards. 😂

Well of course she is.

She's decided to be twice as much trouble from now on so you don't have the time or energy to get another cat.
