Missing since 5pm

I know its normal for them to wander. But it's the first time ipek has disappeared. He normally doesn't leave the cul de sac. 2 out of 4 kids have just fallen asleep after crying non stop. I went out looking for him shaking treats but nothing. I put his food out for a bit but nothing. I put my sons stinky shirt out in case he's gone too far and lost. Will post on SM tomorrow if no sign.

Anything else I should do?

Cats gonna cat! He’ll be back, I’m sure. One of mine went missing for three months last year. Our other one is incredibly lazy and rarely goes beyond the end of our driveway.

Going out with an open can of tuna could help, but depends obviously how far he’s wandered. Is it raining where you are? He might be taking shelter somewhere.

You can only assume that he was simultaneously both inside and outside the shed until he decided to let you know which.

I think the Shrodinger's cat thing should be adapted to reflect the fact that the ability to lead secret lives which sometimes means vanishing for days then strolling nonchalantly back home is what makes cats simultaneously the absolute best and the absolute worst domestic animal on the planet.
