Meet Pepper!

Got her from the rescue at lunchtime. She has been hiding under the chair in the spare room but has come out to eat, cover me in hair, purr loudly and enjoy some lick-e-lix. Oh, and play with her catnip banana!

She looks terribly stressed. Probably won't let you go near her for at least three months...

She still dives under the chair at any noise at all that isn't me talking, but otherwise has seemed very relaxed! I'm surprised but happy!

Thanks! Pepper is 5 (just). She's been very inquisitive this evening in the room and even got up on the windowsill to have a look outside. She's walked across my lap but not actually sat on it, and she bottled a fairly easy jump from one chair to another. (She hid herself in a cupboard for about a year due to bullying from other cats, I think, so probably hasn't seen much outside world or done too much energetic jumping for a long while.)

She has such a loud purr and I am already a doting servant to my new cat overlord!
