Ahaha I second Branston but Dick Dastardly is simply amazing.

Are they indoor cats? If not and Toddler takes up the otherwise great suggestion of Dick Dastardly, I fear for her reputation if she's shouting for "Dick" at supper time!

I thought I was clever suggesting Branston, but on looking back over this thread I note LostCats had already suggested it the day before. Bah.

@Allergictoironing good point. Snorg maiden, Fatty cat, Gremly and Sea potato are the previous names. So actually Sir Theodore Goblin is actually quite restrained this time.

Poor Teddy is hiding in his cage at the rescue and not eaten. I wish he was hiding in my spare room instead. Then he wouldn't have to go through this again when he moves. Still nervous that the rescue are going to say he's not suitable for me. They seem to think they know what's suitable better than I do!

Because they want to let him settle then get him vet checked. And then try him with other cats.

As my friend who was transporting him lives not far away. I'll hopefully go down and meet him again when he's more settled.

Pen appears to have forgiven me for cutting her claws. I pointed out that, as age appears to have taken on 3am face poking duties. Short claws are a must..
She's stopped sleeping at my feet. And now snuggles up next to me. Which is lovely.

Ah there's nothing like waking up with a cat snuggled up against one until the cat lies right in front of your face so you can't breathe

@JoanOgden I think Cheddar was on a mission to suffocate me. Penelope is so tiny I barely feel her sitting on my chest.

My cat loves to sleep with me….unless my dd leaves her door open then the traitor goes and sleep with her!! Luckily, dd only does it every now and then but it still sucks to be second best

Teddy still very shy. Apparently. No need about when he will see the vet or be ready to come home. Wish they'd get on with it!
Penelope is getting very bossy. She reminds me so much of Maia 😂

What a shame- poor Teddy- really would be best for him if they let you do the foster to adoption thing you did with Penelope -poor thing is just getting stressed in the rescue

Yes. Although financially it was a mistake. As I now can't insure her ears. And thinking that she didn't need a dental as first thought, I adopted her. And her teeth cost me £977!

She's just jumped up to join me on the sofa! Progress!
