I already have a full black female called Luna.

Not keen on Blacky, Salem, Binx, Raven, Shadow, Lucifer, Noir, Jet, Dusk, Liquorice, Shade, Damien, Omen.

also if you want a witchy name, it would help to see some more relevant photos eg. him in a red satin lined black cape or a pointy black hat? sirius is good, but isn't that more of a doggie name?

We named our black cat Salem Saberhagen, after the enchanted black cat on Sabrina, the Teenage Witch.

I'd post a picture of him, but he's a feral barn cat so we really don't have any good pictures of him. We feed him and he'll let us stroke his back and scratch his chin, but don't EVEN try to tickle his tummy!! He's still a good boy though and a dynamite hunter.

My black boy is called Nox 😁
I named him for the latin for night, it's just a happy coincidence that it's a spell from HP too, and the name of the god of night.

He also answers to piddle, my piece of the night, furry shadow, diddle dum.

I also had a Sooty and Blackie black cats as a child. My naming standards got better with age. 😂

My Nox also has a May the Fourth be with you birthday.
He easily could have been a Vader or Skywalker 😂
