What should I name my black kitten??

I want a witchy name for a boy please.

I already have a full black female called Luna.

Not keen on Blacky, Salem, Binx, Raven, Shadow, Lucifer, Noir, Jet, Dusk, Liquorice, Shade, Damien, Omen.

Dorcha- Irish for dark
Cat Dubh - catthoo - Irish for black cat

Sirius (Black) obviously.

But had to add when my son was little he begged for a black cat who he planned to call "Snowy" and was indignant when we found that hilarious. We still don't have a cat (son is an adult now) but if we did get one it would be a black cat named Snowy.

He also wanted a tabby cat named Diesel like the one in Green Balloon Club. Then we watched it and discovered the cats name was actually "Basil".

(I'm a fan of 'Black' surname names for black cats, so I would have gone for Roger, but you wanted witchy, so I've gone for a wizard instead)

Another vote for Obsidian (Sid for short) because I got outvoted last time we named a cat! 🐈‍⬛🐈‍⬛

Sirius would work well as it has the magic theme but Sirius Black was a good wizard so has positive vibes. The actual Sirius is also the brightest star in the sky so that also has happy connotations.

Totally not witchy but I'd name him Pickle or Pablo 🥰. He looks alot like my cat when he was little. Adorable!

Thanks! Our black male is Sirius, and the kittens are Bellatrix (also black) and Andromeda, as they were Blacks too.

Our Sirius isn't well and on palliative care so be nice to know there's potentially a new one around!
