So there was a recent thread about unnecessary things you really wanted.
This chap, who is a rescue moved in tonight.

Look what you made me do !

Gorgeous! 😍😍

Strawberrycheesecake7 · 02/11/2023 02:07

Awww he’s beautiful. I remember that thread. A cat was one of the things I really wanted as well. Unfortunately I can’t justify subjecting a cat to living with my dog as he would not leave the poor thing alone. I’m very jealous.

Riverlee · 02/11/2023 02:21

He’s lovely, and looks very content.

Tilllly · 02/11/2023 02:53

😻

CarrieMoonbeams · 02/11/2023 02:59

What a gorgeous boy 😻

VocalFryUp · 02/11/2023 03:02

Unnecessary? Cats are an essential addition to a home imo. 😉

He’s beautiful. 😍

LilacpointMummy · 02/11/2023 09:01

He's so gorgeous and looks very happy!

Is he a seal point Siamese?

endlessfall · 02/11/2023 11:37

He is mostly but the breeder was trying to introduce curly ears with something.
This made no sense until I discovered that they had become homeless following drug dealing convictions.
Maybe drugs make that seem like a good idea.
So his ears are too small and a bit squashed for a Siamese.

Curly ears .....Shock Like the floofy tufty ears (my boy has tufty ears he says its because he was wild)
Yor lovely boy with his beautiful un-curly ears is well out of it .
Was he a stud cat ?

I bet once he's he;s found his paws he'll be "vocal" Wink

.

endlessfall · 02/11/2023 12:04

He was one of two stud cats. It was a totally chaotic situation.
His ears are a bit odd and too small for a Siamese.
He is also very quiet but hopefully he will get louder.
We had a very loud Siamese for many years with perfect ears but wanted to rescue this time.
He is super friendly and cuddly.

Can we have more pictures please?

Iamacatslave · 02/11/2023 19:24

Beautiful boy.

minou123 · 02/11/2023 19:29

Aww the little fluff ball. 😍

Tilllly · 02/11/2023 20:35

Has he settled?

CatChant · 02/11/2023 20:42

Beautiful!

And “necessary” - Shakespeare said so!

endlessfall · 03/11/2023 03:43

He is surprisingly settled. An absolute snuggle cat.
He and the dog don't like each other at all but hopefully over time.
Although having him actually makes me miss my old cat quite a lot.

Catsmere · 03/11/2023 05:44

Nonono, as others have said, cats are completely necessary! He's a gorgeous boy, kudos for rescuing him, and good to hear he's settling in.

felinelucky · 03/11/2023 05:59

Ah, what a gorgeous wee boy. Congratulations, OP.

Ellmau · 04/11/2023 01:01

Beautiful.

But how could he be unnecessary????

endlessfall · 04/11/2023 01:07

More exploring.
Our dog who lived happily with another Siamese for ten years is being really difficult which is stressing him.
Hopefully this will settle down soon.

OP posts:
endlessfall · 04/11/2023 01:09

He was homeless after his breeder was made homeless for drug trafficking, then he lived secretly in motels then when this was discovered in a car with six other cats.
Until handed into a rescue.

Catsmere · 04/11/2023 01:47

Poor boy! Glad you rescued him - and hope DDog calms down soon.

LilacpointMummy · 04/11/2023 07:32

His ears might be small but he is gorgeous 😻
One of my many Siamese has a v large tummy and another has a defective bum, but I love and serve them just the same.

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 04/11/2023 13:02

Poor cat , he's not lead a charmed life so far but his luck has changed now .
Does he smell like the other cats he was with ? Is that why your dog is confused ?

My DH always tells me that the MaleCat goes out as soon as he hears me walking down stairs or hears my key in the door , so I'm sympathising with the Dog here having welcomed a new feline into the happy home who then totally disregards you at best or contempt at worst Wink
Ahh but that's cats for you .

I love how your cat is surveying his new domain from the window

Scampuss · 04/11/2023 13:24

He is lovely.

But do make sure you have excellent insurance with that history of dodgy breeding and keep an eye out for joint problems.
