So there was a recent thread about unnecessary things you really wanted.
This chap, who is a rescue moved in tonight.

As others have said, clearly not unnecessary. Indeed, arguably a necessity. And DCat’s ears are charming, probably about the same size as the “original” Siamese cats of the 1890s: down with unrealistic beauty standards! Boo to humans meddling with “breeds”!

Hopefully your DDog will settle soon - I suppose the difference is they lived with their cat-friend for a decade, & this is stranger!cat, who Does Not Smell Right [Yet]. Might Adaptil (apologies if I’ve guessed wrongly at your location from your language usage) be worth trying?

We have a plugin so hopefully that will help, actually they both seem calmer this morning.

Posters are right about damaging beauty standards in pets. They are rubbish.

So he's basically a reformed gangster moll who is now living a respectable life with OP :)
