Do your cats demand to picked up and cuddled?

Out of all the cats I've ever known, Cheddar is the only cat who demands to be picked up and cuddled. Other cats would allow it but not demand it. I'm not entirely sure she's a real cat though.

FemaleCat does the rollingabout showing her tummy off on the floor. Then stops and looks at me. “Go on. Touch my tummy. I Dare You…..”

Mine too! Meows and stretches his front paws up to ask, then hugs me and shoves his face against mine... it's very cute...

Moggie hates being picked up...goes rigid and pushes away from you ( even my DD who she adores... she only tolerates the rest of us)... then " helicopters" her tail as you put her down. She cuddles into DD in her bed though...

Oriental will tolerate a cuddle very briefly whilst you rub her cheeks then becomes a bag of eels.... however when she decides it's cuddle time she sits on you - usually directly under chin and promptly falls asleep - and she will always to return to her preferred spot of you try to move her somewhere more comfy for you...

My black and white boy Felix loves to be held. He also loves it when I carry him downstairs. He will jump on the upstairs railing, trying to paw at me as I pass by to get my attention and leap into my arms. He then lies straight across my chest, all regal and proud like a Sphinx. I say "come on your Majesty, let's go downstairs" 😂

God I wish ! My cat hates me and attacks me on a daily basis for no reason whatsoever, he actually hides then runs out gets his claws around my leg and sinks his teeth in ! Not what I imagined having a cat would be like 😂

I have a Burmese who jumps into my arms, and is always wanting to be held. He is often seen in the arms of the children playing outside our house ( my children and neighbours) . He is VERY demanding of attention though.

No never, not in 7 years has he ever done it.Hes more likely to swipe growl and lash out.😱

One of my late cats would do both - swarm up onto your lap for cuddles, and lash out if you cuddled him a millisecond longer than he wanted. He was a very intimidating character. 😄
