I have a 14 year old cat who is in gtlreaf health the vet said. Apart from demanding food when I go in the kitchen or doing something or on the phone she will come and meow very loudly 😂

My twelve year old is the same. She has an opinion on everything. And is very loud. She is not deaf!

Here’s my older lady, 17 just gone. Since her first stroke (she’s recovered from two now) she’s been very vocal, if you’re sat in her chair or you don’t get up quick enough to feed her. Despite this, she’s still surprisingly agile and still a bit feisty.

At least we don’t get dead mice any more these days.

Oldest of the Purplecat posse - she’s 17 and grumpy, lol.

17 years young and still climbing up on the roof! This is Sealy who I've had from the day he was born.

He is the double of one of my cats!

Here’s my 14 year old. He’s the best cat. Can show us what he wants by meowing and leading us to the door or his biscuits or the tap! He’s not too keen on the youngster we brought home last year though, they tolerate each other at best and he is a typical grumpy old man.

Here's my old boy - he's 15, which is a really good age for a Siamese.
He sleeps most of the time now and we have to wake him up to go out for a wee, but he is eating and drinking and loves a cuddle. He has the loudest purr ever 😻

Here are my two - 17 years old, we got them from a rescue 16 years ago. They are litter mates but not fond of each other to be quite honest!

Both hyperthyroid and on meds - but one caught a mouse the other day ( a much rarer occurrence than it used to be thank goodness )

Ours is quite similar colouring, she's only 11 though (roughly, rescue were a bit vague when we got her). Ruby's very much a lap cat, never happier than when she's got a blanket and a cosy knee!

My boy has never caught anything 😸! He's never been a hunter thank goodness and is a total wuss but we love him even more for it ❤️

These two are 14. The one in the towel is diabetic, he’s been a bit of a nightmare to treat but seems stable at the moment (crosses everything). Other one probably has arthritis - ruptured his crucial ligament some years back, has gone from scaling fences to climbing stairs one foot at a time. He has a special ottoman in my office so he get on my lap without using his claws and destroying my clothing (and leg).

They’re brothers and just about tolerate each other. I can tell when diabetic boy is coming round from feeling unwell as he goes back to biting his brother on the bum 😂 In fourteen years he’s started about 90% of the fights and not won one yet.

My 12 year old lady. She's frightened of her own shadow and spends most of her time alone, bless her.

Our soul cat. Aged 12. Has a few heath issues but we love him more than anything in the world and he completely dictates our lives (and that’s the way it should be 🖤)

My grumpy old boy was 18 in May. He's been on medication for arthritis for a few years but otherwise in good health and still scaling 6ft fences so he can get to his favourite hunting grounds across the road. He was always quite vocal but his shouting at us has ramped up hugely with increasing age. We're just back from holidays so he's just enjoyed a quiet couple of weeks with the house to himself and daily visits from a cat-loving teenager and seems to have thrived on it, he's looking sleeker than he has for ages.
