I am planning on viewing some ragdoll kittens shortly. Super excited and haven’t had an indoor cat before, so please hit me with your ragdoll advice, photos, warnings etc.

One issue my partner is intimating he will take issue with white hairs everywhere… hoping this won’t be as bad as he’s making out??

if you want friendly then have a look at Siamese . We’ve had both but the Siamese are definitely more friendly and cuddly .

Also they don’t shed much and they LOVE being groomed and then polished with a chamois leather , so virtually no hair shed for a week.

DH claimed to be semi allergic to cat hair, he had no problem with Siamese (and he adored the way they talked to him). They stayed in in London and went out in the country, smart enough to know the difference, and no trouble with travelling between in the car.

Oh my goodness they are glorious 😍 I see a mittie! Are they blue or seal? The lynx looks like she has a little white snip round her nose?

They will really colour up over the next 2 years or so, it's fascinating looking back at old photos and seeing how much their colours change, they look even more striking when their colours bloom

You will have hours of enjoyment from them 😍 mine has spent part of the evening trying to get a fly, they are a lot of wonderful things but athletic they are not!

I really really want another one, we have mine and DH BSH, I follow my ragdolls breeder on FB and the other day she had a little boy shown who was the spit of mine, fortunately she's keeping that one as I think DH would divorce me if I got another

The little beauty on the right looks like she will be a handful/ lots of fun.
Lilly and Luna?

MadCatLady27 · 27/09/2023 21:47

Oh the female ones are SO sassy @Tambatamba ! If mine has been told off, she catapults her tail vertically into the air and generally stomps about. It definitely doesn't swish like a normal cat, it flicks, which seems to have greater emphasis like she's disgusted someone dare tell her she shouldn't be doing something

My beautiful girl. She is just the sweetest cat ever. She plays fetch with her little balls and gives me her paw for a treat, just like a dog! They are very special cats.

@MadCatLady27 one is blue the other I think she just said lynx but the tail looks blue… I’ll have to wait and see. Yes both mitted and lynx has a blaze and eyeliner - she’s very pretty and quite loud. Definitely sassy. The blue is slightly more placid.

@Ladybird69 she is so sweet!

I’m liking Poppy, daisy, Luna and all the Buffy names. Hard decision.

We have a rag doll and I agree on the fur. However, despite warnings, she does go in the garden and doesn’t try to escape at all. She certainly could, she just isn’t interested, but she prefers to toilet outside than the litter tray.
she is VERY vocal and quite cuddly.
