Our last beloved cat was called Clarkson, because he was egocentric, bolshy , had a bit of an attitude and wasn't the most photogenic creature. He lived to 12 which given he had a heart condition from birth was pretty good going.
We've had a petless gap of about nine months and have just adopted a new feline leader.
We've thrown quite a few names around but nothing seems to stick/suit.
DS (4) wants to call him whatever is in his line of sight at the time, and DH wants to call him Tabaxi after a species of cat people from his very niche/outing Mumsnet DH hobby Dungeons and Dragons. I think it's a bit much and not something I want to be calling out of the back door.
We don't really want standard Felix, Tigger, fluffy type names.
Any thoughts?
