Viewing foster cat today

I am going to view a one year old cat in her foster home today, with me luck, I don’t know what to expect, she looks adorable in her photo and I’ve fallen for her with out even meeting her, I will be so disappointed if I don’t het to give her a home. Any advice please.

Solid scratching post and covering her favourite scratching areas with tape I got on Amazon. Or try tin foil! They hate tin foil.

with my little monster it isn’t stress - she does it for attention.

I just got this horizontal scratcher as my cat is wrecking my rugs despite having a big upright scratcher. I could barely get it unwrapped and down on the floor she was so keen to have a go, so I have high hopes. Comes with a bit oof catnip to encourage them.

My cats both go wild on a flat scratching post, much prefer it to an upright one

we have a post that we have tipped on its side so it’s horizontal, and also an old 4x4 fence post which we have wrapped in a carpet off cut and they use both of them loads
